If you want to use rit­u­als as a pow­er­ful tool, there are a few things to keep in mind.

First, you need to under­stand that a rit­u­al is nei­ther a rou­tine nor a habit. This pre­sen­ta­tion will explain the dif­fer­ence and why rit­u­als are good for fos­ter­ing habits. Sec­ond, you need to learn that rit­u­als are only pow­er­ful when they have mean­ing for peo­ple.
